„Howdy“ aus Montana!
Mein Name ist Kari Swenson und ich bin in Montana geboren und aufgewachsen. Ich bin Tierärztin für Kleintiere in der Stadt Bozeman in der Nähe des Yellowstone National Park. Ich bin in der freien Natur aufgewachsen und genieße es nach wie vor, die Welt zu erkunden und Freunde in nah und fern zu besuchen. Meine Pferde, Hunde und Walter halten mich 24 Stunden am Tag auf Trab.

Mein Name ist Walter Pichler und ich bin ein gebürtiger Ruhpoldinger. Das Haus der Ferienwohnung Wanderlust war mein Elternhaus, das wir kürzlich zu einem Urlaubsdomizil umgebaut haben.
Der Biathlonsport hat unser beider Leben geprägt und uns zusammengebracht. Wir lernten uns 1984 in Olso, Norwegen, bei einem Biathlon-Weltcup kennen. Kari trat für die USA an und ich für Deutschland. Ich gewann eine Bronzemedaille mit der Biathlon-Staffel bei den Olympischen Spielen in Sarajevo und Kari gewann im selben Winter eine Bronzemedaille mit der Biathlon-Staffel bei den ersten Weltmeisterschaften der Frauen in Chamonix, Frankreich.

My name is Kari Swenson and I was born and raised in Montana. I am a small animal veterinarian in the town of Bozeman near Yellowstone National Park. I grew up in the great outdoors and still enjoy exploring the world and visiting friends near and far. My horses, dogs and Walter keep me busy 24 hours a day.

My name is Walter Pichler and I am a native of Ruhpolding. The house of the vacation apartment Wanderlust was my parents‘ house, which we recently converted into a vacation home.
The sport of biathlon has shaped both our lives and brought us together. We met in 1984 in Olso, Norway, at a biathlon world cup. Kari was competing for the USA and I was competing for Germany. I won a bronze medal with the biathlon relay team at the Olympic Games in Sarajevo and Kari won a bronze medal with the biathlon relay team at the first Women’s World Championships in Chamonix, France, that same winter.
